|Time Off||Meredith provides employees with a generous amount of time off. A new employee at Meredith will receive 2 weeks of vacation in addition to several personal days (amount is based on location), 10-30 sick days, and annual holidays. New employees are granted vacation on their date of hire. The amount of vacation time you receive is based on your years of continuous service. Employees have the opportunity to buy more vacation days, based on Meredith office location. Family/Medical Leave and Funeral Leave are also available for eligible employees.|
|Parental Leave||Meredith recognizes the importance of new parents bonding with their children, so both mothers and fathers are granted one week of leave at full pay for the birth or adoption of a child.|
|Tuition Reimbursement||Meredith believes in the importance of education and self development, therefore we provide tuition reimbursement for job-related courses and degree programs at most colleges and universities. There is a maximum $400 per credit hour up to a $3,600 annual maximum that may be reimbursed each calendar year after 1 year of service.|
|Financial Assistance for Adoption||Once you've been with Meredith for two or more years, the company offers financial assistance in the adoption of children.|
|Employee Contribution Program||Meredith will match employee contributions to nonprofit human service or arts organizations and to education institutions. In addition, employees who volunteer at a nonprofit human service, arts or educational organization will be eligible to apply for a matching grant to that agency. The total maximum contribution Meredith will make for an individual to the Matching Gifts Program and the Volunteer Grant Program is $5,000 per fiscal year each.|
|Employee Assistance Program (EAP)||Meredith provides an EAP that offers a wide spectrum of counseling services to support employees and their families.|
|Product Discounts||Employees receive discounted prices for Meredith books and other products by shopping online at the various Meredith websites.|
|Free Magazine Subscriptions||Employees can select up to four complimentary Meredith magazines to receive at their home address.|
